A Safe Place to Be Al-Anon Family Group Forming at Trinity Episcopal Church
In response to requests, there will be a new A-Anon group starting at our church on Monday, February 13 at 7:30 p.m. This meeting will be called A Safe Place to Be AFG and welcomes newcomers and Al-Anon members alike. The meeting is one hour and fifteen minutes and there is no charge. Al-Anon is self-supporting through voluntary contributions.
Al-Anon has but one purpose, to help families of alcoholics. They do this by practicing the Twelve Steps, by welcoming and giving comfort to families of alcoholics, and by giving understanding and encouragement to the alcoholic.
For information about this meeting, call JoAnne at 978-587-3116. For more information about other Al-Anon meetings call 508-366-0556, visit www.ma-al-anon-alateen.org or email Idcofma@aol.com to find a meeting near you.
Epilepsy Foundation Donation Box
Have you noticed a brand new, bright green donation box in the church parking lot? You can now donate to the Epilepsy Foundation at the same time you drop off your paper recycling in the Paper Retriever boxes! The Epilepsy Foundation will accept clothing, fabric, bedding, small appliances, books, toys, and household goods (such as dishes and pots and pans) in the donation box. Larger items for donation can be picked up at your home. A more complete list of acceptable items and the procedure for arranging pick-up can be found at www.donatenewengland.org or by contacting the local Foundation affiliate at 888-322-8209.
Paper Retriever Boxes
Trinity Church has two Paper Retriever boxes located in the back area of our parking lot. We want all of your newspapers, magazines, office papers, shopping catalogs and mail. All proceeds from our recycling program benefit our outreach programs. Please help us help others while you help the environment. Every paper you recycle in our boxes is a paper that does not end up in a landfill. For more information about the paper recycling process, visit www.paperretriever.com
